Accent lighting is used to accent or highlight a particular object such as a work of art, displays, plants, or even a wall. To be effective, accent lighting should be approximately four or five times the level of ambient light in the area. LED lights are perfect for the task. Accent lights usually are on for long hours producing intense heat and energy consumption.
